"B"
B, a letter in the alphabet, the letter in between
Right after A, placed before C,
But there's more to it than that, see.
Let me take your mind
On a mental joyride
a vivid description of this situation
a joyous occasion which got me seein' hallucinations
new locations, estimatin' times like from home to the go station.
It is through a situation that I met B.
The one that sits between the AC.
The lady who got me
I still get nervous around B.
Shakin' from chills goin' through my back
Hold up stop track, my lady knows I ain't just 'bout that.
I treat her like a gentleman should and would cause gentlemen don't
Lead women on and crush their hopes.
Words describin' verbs cant begin to decipher the things I'd do for her.
Her, who is B, who is the reason why the letter B is so significant to me.
Forgive me if I've become repetitive over the past few times
It's just that it is through these lines that I openly express my mind.
And simply because B has me fallin',
She could be my queen and I'd be the king,
With her next to me, money ain't a thing,
She'd be the queen of spades, keep me strong always,
Never doubtin' each other, since with her I see a beautiful world.
A world that metaphors love to adore and haters love to ignore
Behind every successful person is a bunch of haters, I concur.
Never about them, always about us, trust
I'll be the king to your queen, the one that let's you be, B.

def poetry jam
Can i start of by sayin' im thankful
grateful to have been blessed by someone so beautiful
remarkable, personality undeniable
shes made my world that much more liveable
liveable? is that even in the dictionary?
forgive me for my grammar ain't always perfect, I'm sorry
it's just that she's amazing she wow's me
can't deny that she got me physically and mentally.
hooked onto everything that is her
the smile the face, and yes the curves
I'm a man, and it's natural to think these things bout her
can't say i'd be the best but i'd provide her my world.
but see there's a slight problem in this story
a twist as i approach the climax, the turning point so bear with me
few bumps up the road, follow the path where I be
makin my mark as to make myself known to she.
She which is her who is the who is the one who keeps my spirits up
wake up keeps me high up, physically grounded but mind ready to
go higher as i reach, stumble but never give up cause
if I did, it would've been done since the first round, game over, console off.
she tells me she's scared of the consequences
the things that are unknown, those differences
the chances, lows highs, from the low to the rise
I don't wanna lie since i wouldn't want it to lead to my demise.
nowhere close to being perfect,
maybe just slightly above average
yet with my talents as an artist
I can't create everything to come out perfect.
scared of bein hurt again she said
I'm not gonna lie, i was scared of shatterin' my confidence
unconfident that i could even approach this magnificent
woman who seemed to have been heaven sent
I don't wanna guarantee that everything will be perfect
since only He is good and perfect
and a faithful woman is also what attracted
this man to her, who slightly lost his path to the chosen.
so, to the woman whom i've been so thankful to have been blessed with
the thank yous alone can never amount to the gifts
or the times which seem like forever with
you since there's nothing better I could have asked for than you, the realest.
I wanna be the shoulder you lean on
the arms that protect and the back that shields from
anything the world throws at you, I'll help you take em on
be the shield and my mind the sword, fight for you till the break of dawn.
but not sayin' I'll be the greatest
since I'm not a great artist of the modernesque
although i'll put in 200 percent of myself and more to say yes
I'm willin' to be the one who puts the great in the word of your life, greatness
